travelocity & the roaming gnome

Travelocity and Roaming Gnome are sister brands of the Expedia Group portfolio that caters to the family traveler across middle america. My role entailed creating content that built brand love and consumer engagement to encourage and reimagine travel.

Increased Expedia Group followers across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest from 800K to over 1M in one year. This  includes developing & curating social cadence and maintaining the monthly social calendar, encompassing community management, Sprinklr social listening, reporting, and copywriting. Spearheaded both paid and organic social media strategies for Travelocity and Roaming Gnome.

Improved Travelocity's engagement rate from 3.4% to 8.6% (Q1 compared to Q4) and increased Roaming Gnome's engagement rate from 7.78% to 9.81% during the same period.

Briefed and worked with agencies to help build out larger-scale seasonal and external tourism brand partnerships for social. Managed The Amazing Race, Tourism Fiji, and Black History Month social campaigns in-house and with external agencies to deliver social posts, stories, and short-format videos.
