Workshop Houston - HTine Cards
Workshop Houston is a local non-profit in the Houston Metropolitan area that commissioned me to layout and produce a collection of cards* that would highlight the history behind the name of the streets people in Houston drive on and by each and every day.
The client found an illustrator to create a design for the cards and my duties entailed the creation of the layout, design, and production. With the rustic and vintage aesthetic of the maps found I wanted to make sure that I considered texture and exude the essence of simplicity based on the request of the client.
The client wanted a high-quality look and feel so, I used an Eggshell #120 paper from Clampitt Paper to print the designs on. I also worked with Thomas Printworks, a local printing company to print the final product.
8 streets : Bissonett, Elgin, Kirby, Fondren, Hidalgo, MLK & Westheimer
